Mrs. Emma Vaters
Majorette Instructor
Emma Vaters is the instructor of the majorette line at Auburn High School beginning in 2020. In addition to teaching the majorette auxiliary course, she choreographs and teaches field and pom routines for the line. Outside of the band program, she is a forensics and physical science teacher at AHS.
Before working for AHS, Emma was a four-year member of the Auburn University Marching Band majorette line. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management and a master’s in Science Education, both from Auburn University. Originally from Fairhope, AL, Emma was also a member of her high school band’s flagline, and was a competitive majorette from middle to high school. She currently lives in Auburn with her husband, Josh, and is so excited to get to continue working with marching band!
